Do you love XHEO too? Let us know!
I've really loved what XHEO|Licensing has enabled me to do with my product.
I have implemented quite a few extra things using the license as a conduit between the
customer and my server. The completed license holds information on updates to the software
so the user gets notified of updates and can download and install them right inside my
program. That would have been a lot harder to do without using XHEO|Licensing. I also
have the ability to convert an installation into a trial version if the serial number is
used on more than one computer. That has been VERY handy and has resulted in more sales
once people discover that they have to buy multiple licenses to run on multiple systems.
I've also implemented lots of reporting around activations so I can tell my bosses exactly
how many new activations and subscription renewals we have each month. I've written a bunch
of PowerShell scripts to maintain the data as well so I can look up information on a license
and make necessary changes to the license right from the PowerShell prompt - no more waiting
for SQL Server Management Studio to come up just to release a license for reinstallation.
So much of this was made possible by using XHEO|Licensing, I'm very happy with our choice 5
years ago.

I love XHEO for one main reason: they supported me patiently although I had not licensing experience at all. This alone worth the purchase price!
A couple of weeks later we had all our products fully protected and were planning to monitor installations from a web server: again, starting WITH NO protecting experience.

I shouldn't tell you this, but your main competitor's product crashed within 5 minutes, just because the UI wasn't well done. When I looked at the form that crashed, I could see exactly the same code patterns which I know very well from [Outsourced] programmers: no sorting, no error checking, no nothing (I worked in outsourcing for a few years!); and as it looks it went through in their QA. This is the type of error which really drives me mad, especially if such product is sold as a Mercedes. Your products, in comparison, are rock-solid and virtually error-free.

Cool thanks so much, great product, I'm happy we made the switch over, we've been looking for something like this for a while.

Please let anyone who should know that XHEO support is exceptional. (Now if I just knew how to pronounce XHEO...)

We originally hesitated to purchase XHEO's licensing tools due to the negative
review given by VB.Net Forums. We evaluated every other competitor out there
to see what we could find. Every other competitor's product failed to meet our
requirements or sagged way behind the features and ease of use offered by XHEO's
licensing tools and because of this, we kept returning to testing XHEO's components,
but kept hesitating due to the review.
We decided to take a chance and contact XHEO to see how things would work
out. Our experience with XHEO has been the complete opposite of what was said
in the review.
All our questions, concerns, and problems were responded to immediately by
[XHEO], often in less than one hour of sending them.
The licensing tools are the best bar none. No where else can you find one
as simple to use, detailed help files and documentation, and comes with unmatched
support.
We also evaluated CodeVeil as we were looking for a way to protect our intellectual
property. We tested every obfuscator on the market.
Dotfuscator, Xenocode, spices.net and all the other ones. Tested and it works
perfectly. After testing our obfuscated application with the various decompilers,
we found that CodeVeil is the only one that defeats them all.
CodeVeil prices less than the competition, protects better, and is simple
to use. Why would you waste your time elsewhere?
Simply put, everything about XHEO screams quality, superiority, and excellence.
With our positive experiences with XHEO, we will not hesitate to recommend
them to anyone needing a licensing and application protection solution.

I've spent some time looking at other code obfuscators, and have come
to the conclusion that they really are half-assed!! I did purchase Dotfuscator
standard edition before I came across your product. So I decided to do some
research and found that the decompiler by Jungle Creatures will quite happily
and easily regenerate some critical code sections that had been obfuscated.
The standard edition is a waste of time and money, since all it does is mangle
private variable and function names. Strings are left untouched, which for
some of my code is a problem. I have looked at some others, and Xenocode seems
to do a very thorough job, including mangling strings. But veiling the code
is I think a much better approach. Xenocode professional runs at $399, and
is obviously a much better choice that Dotfuscator. But your approach is clearly
more robust – none of the decompilers I’ve tried do a damm with
the veiled code.

Protecting your Intellectual Properties has to be a key concept when developing
commercially used components. Since copy protection with a hardware based solution
is not always possible I had to look for alternatives. I evaluated quite a
few software based solutions. After the time frame I had given myself it was
an easy decision to go with XHEO|Licensing because of it's rich set of features,
fast responding support and the option to implement my own limits if I need
to.
Well, we all know that copy protection is only one side of the medal in
the .NET world. So I tried Dotfuscator Community Edition, evaluated a few others
and even bought another Obfuscator I was never really happy with. Regular updates
are a good thing but up to three times in one day was a bit too much for my
liking.
Again, XHEO came to the rescue and released CodeVeil. CodeVeil is incredible
easy to use after a very short learning curve and still gives me all the options
I need to protect my assemblies.
The XHEO suite of tools covers all my needs
when it comes to protecting my Intellectual Properties. I am sure that "curious
developers", XHEO competitors and malicious hackers hate XHEO for doing such
a great job.
All I think when a software package is leaving my company is "I am well protected,
I am using XHEO products!"

You've got the best licensing product I've found. We're currently using Infralution,
but it's nothing even
remotely as powerful as your's...
Purchasing now. Great product. Very all-inclusive and well thought out.
